Is my midyear okay?

after 1st semester, I’ve come out with:

AP Literature: 100
AP Research: 99
AP Japanese: 98
AP Government: 97
Honors Intro to College Math: 90
Honors Physics: 79

I’ve worked very hard in physics all year and my teacher has sent in a recommendation for me because he thinks I am one of the hardest working students in class despite my grade (I also managed to get a 91 second quarter in there which he thought was a testament to my hard work), but I’m unsure if my C will be my downfall in the admissions process

Before these grades I have a 3.46 UW/4.03 W (I’m unsure how to calculate these into my gpa now haha)

and I’m applying to Kenyon ED2, American, UT Knox’s honors college (already accepted to regular EA), Howard, Ohio State, Northwestern, Emory (including Oxford), Tulane, WASHU, and NYU

basically, I don’t really intend this to be a chance thread, more to see if a C is too glaring

Your C does not yet represent a full year’s worth of work, and will be weighted accordingly. You have every reason for optimism. Good luck!
