Don’t you need accelerated or honors algebra 2 before you take pre-calculus? Don’t you need Spanish 4 before you take AP Spanish?
I would take AP English language junior year.
Senior year: be flexible on the AP science you choose. Why not AP CS principles?
Accelerated geometry is actually Advacned algebra 2 and the 2nd half of regular geometry. My high school doesn’t have Spanish 4 ,so it goes from Spanish 3 to AP Spanish. Thank you for your feedback (=
Don’t worry about where your schedule will take you. Yes it’s important, but it’s not worth stress. Take what you can handle without being constantly stressed. Remember to save some time for fun. I’m currently a senior at a highly competitive high school, and I wish I would’ve challenged myself less because the stress and sleep deprivation just isn’t worth it. That being said, you’ve spaced out your APs very well. If you think you can handle it (REALLY think about it. High school is much different than middle school), then go for it. If I were you, I’d take calc ab instead of bc. Also, are you sure about taking two science classes senior year? Ap bio kills. I know apes is generally regarded as easy and it is an interesting class, but having two science classes still sucks. Maybe you could replace one with an ap elective like physch?
That is just what I am thinking I’m gonna go with ,but I have to chance to take AP biology in 9th grade. Everyone says it’s really hard ,but I enjoy the topics and concepts. That might change my plans. Anyways Thank you for your advice!
Typically AP bio requires honors biology and honors chemistry. Is taking AP bio freshman year common at your school and how do the students do on the exam?
Students are allowed to if they get recommended to ,but at the AP meeting they said if you wait to take the course you will be more successful than if it was token Freshman year. The students make mainly 3s on the AP tests.
I actually might switch out AP Spanish with AP Language
I also might drop out of Orchestra for AP Environmental (Freshman year)
Both your original choices AP Spanish and Orchestra were better.
I got into gifted so it changed pretty much almost everything.
It looks like a pretty good schedule.
