I plan to take the following classes:
AP US History
AP Biology
Math 1010/1050 (college algebra)
FHS 2400 (another class through the community college)
Spanish 4H (only a junior)
English 12 H (only a junior)
the others will only be elective

No, not really. There is worse.

As for “hard enough,” not really for a junior. Only 2 APs and ‘college algebra,’ which is the equivalent of Algebra II.

We were told by college admissions people that D’s schedule wasn’t as hard as they like to see…

you’ll need Calculus, Physics, and Chemistry by your senior year if you are going to apply to competitive places that are particularly interested in a “challenging” curriculum.

I don’t understand what the people here are talking about.

I think it seems as if it is a tough enough schedule. Depending on your school these could even be the hardest classes offered!

I took 3 APs as a Junior, which was the maximum that my school allows. It seems like your schedule will be challenging but manageable (just like my Junior year). Good Luck next year!

Where do you wanna go?

Either way, do what you think you can do. Don’t try and take classes just because people say you need to. My schedule last year only had 2 AP’s, that was all I could take. This year I’ve got 8. Just do what you can

Ya I think its hard enough; make sure you like the classes though.

it’s all relative and centers around where you want to go. if you’re aiming for a state college, it’s probably good enough, if you’re aiming for something like harvard, it can be a lot tougher.

Not for selective schools. Do they offer AP Lang? And algebra in 11th is behind the curve for top schools.

Doesn’t look hard at all to me

You all need to chill. From what I understand she’s got 2 AP classes, 2 Dual enrollment classes, and 2 honors classes that are normally taken by seniors. It’s a tough enough schedule. Granted, there are tougher schedules, but hers isn’t easy. It’s not like she’s taking regular classes.
