Is my schedule too much? Should I not do AP chem?

I am currently a junior in high school in California and I am considering my schedule for next year. In college I would like to study biomedicine and as I am from England I would return home for my degree meaning I need 3 AP tests with a grade of 4+ in the related field.

My classes and grades rn:
AP Physics: B
Art: A
APUSH: A
AP Lang/Comp: A
Precalculus: B
Honours French 3: A

I will be taking AP lit, AP French, stats and Econ/gov next year. I could have one science class and then a free period but I would love to do both AP Chem and AP bio as I enjoy the two and previously dos well in both. Is it too much to do two AP sciences though my other classes aren’t that challenging? If I should drop one, which should drop in order to be best prepared for a degree in biomedicine?

I appreciate any input.

It may be, but it totally depends on the person; you know your own limits. In terms of the workload, you might want to ask people who are taking the class now. The thing to keep in mind is that, in addition the the time suck that most AP classes are, Bio and Chem have the added complexity of having labs.

Six of one, half dozen of the other, since you need both, although not necessarily in HS.

Thanks for the warning but what do you mean by six and half a dozen?

It doesn’t matter which choice you make.

For a UK med school, you’ll need AP Calc and either AP Chem or AP Bio (or both). In addition, you’ll need A LOT of shadowing experience + EMT work or such.
