Is PC a good fit for a non-partier?

My friend's daughter is a nice girl who is somewhat shy. She has plenty of friends, but she is not into partying. Will she find others like her at PC?

Partying goes on at every school. It is true that PC does have quite a reputation in this regard and a lot of kids go at it rather hard. But, it is also true that at every school, Providence included, there are kids who don’t party/drink or do so in moderation. So, yes, she will find other kids like her. It may take her some time to find her niche if she is shy, but that would also hold true anywhere.

Not the school for her… unfortunately this is the main focus of the after school activities for the students. The school does a good job and trying to run other events but if she doesn’t like to party don’t go to PC… PC does a bad job focusing on the right type of students…

I have to disagree with think23. The school provides a ton of support for academic minded students. My son is there and participates in science, sports and the arts. Great opportunities in all those areas. Not sure what more you could want.
