I would appreciate some insight!

Pitzer students go on to some of the top graduate schools in the country, in every discipline from medicine to Russian Literature. The key is forging strong relationships with your professors. They are the ones who are well connected in their field and can write you recommendations for admission to grad school, fellowships, jobs, etc. Pitzer students have also been very successful in winning Fullbright, Watson, Rotary, and other prestigious fellowships, which definitely gives them a leg up in applying for graduate schools down the road. Bottom line: The professors here, whether they are your advisers or not, are extremely helpful in getting you into grad school. They have colleagues in grad programs all over the country with whom they’ll put you in touch. They’ll go to bat for you in a big way.

Specifically speaking about Med School, 80% of Joint Science students are accepted into their top choices of Medical School, compared to 44% nationwide.

Thank you so much! This is very helpful, especially since I do plan on pursuing a Medical career.
