Is political science an impacted major?

<p>I just changed my major from women's studies (SUPER unimpacted major) to political science. they didn't require any essay or additional information. that made me super suspicious. How hard is the poli sci major at UCI?</p>

<p>No. Why were you expecting it to be difficult? You’re admitted to the university, not the major (unless the major is nursing, Business admin, or engineering).</p>

<p>There’s honestly not that many PolySci majors here, and yeah, if you want, you can change right now. The reason you got into the university really didn’t have much to do with the major you pick as they understand you can just join in with an unimpacted major then switch to an impacted one. In the end, just switch majors as quick as you can, if you do want to, and yeah, you should be okay. I’m not a PolySci major myself so I don’t really know how easy/hard it is, but like everything else, if you truly like it, then it’ll be easy for you.</p>
