Would you guys choose prom over admit weekend ( i’d have to travel far)?

^ If you have a legit date, yes. If not, go to admit weekend.

Dude, GO TO PROM. You’ll regret not going later!

I’ve been to two proms before, and I had the time of my life. They’re 6 hours long, but you don’t even feel it. Also everybody looks so cute, it’s fun just to dress up :] I didn’t go to the after parties though, but I’m sure you can imagine how they’d be.

yeaah, you should go! i had a lot of fun at my prom. it’s just fun gettin all pretty and being with your friends all night! but i guess the experience can vary from person to person, depending on your date

^^ I agree with Liverpool. Although if you do not have a legitimate date for prom I can see how the choice would be debatable.

^ Yeah.

However do NOT go with someone you don’t want to go with. You’ll ruin your night because you’re not having fun, and you’ll also ruin THEIR night because you’re not having fun.

Wow i am with you all the way on this. I regret getting a date- already have to pay for the limo, prom tickets, a tux, and down the shore (should have only gone down to the shore!!)

Also, it’s worth going even if you don’t have a date. Nobody is going to care once prom starts and you’ll feel a lot better! Prom is what you make it.

It really just depends. I went with a group of my closest friends and had a ton of fun! We just danced and talked and had a super awesome time! The food was great, the music was ehh, and the place looked really nice and dressed up! I had a date, but just as friends so it was casual. I paid for all of my stuff too (dress, party bus portion, ticket, boutinerre) to make it fair. As for hair/makeup/nails, my friends and I got together and did our own! Look for deals and save up some money. I only went senior year because I wanted to make it worthwhile, and it definitely was a blast! :D

I bought a dress for prom… I think it was $15. It was beautiful… I loved it… but I’m a bit chesty and kinda didn’t realize how it fit until the day of prom and then I decided it wasn’t going to work. (I’m a very modest/conservative person.)

So… I went back to the store and bought a new dress and shoes for about $30…

And I spent about $15 on supper…

So for me the night was about $60… Could have been cheaper. I didn’t really need the shoes and I could have kept my first dress.

Anyways… I shopped at Ross. Great selection. Great Prices.

Wasn’t amazingly fun… but eh. It wasn’t too bad.

um it is the expernice and that whole 500 dollar thing girl spend that much to sometimes just on the dress…and then they have to get ready so they usally get there hair done nails done and sometimes even makeup
