What I mean by that is lets say its been a month, I haven't remembered most of the correct answers, but now since I finished all of the writing sections for the blue book and critical reading, is retaking them efficient to the point that I will improve?
I have the online course, but im just asking if this approach is also good?

(first post :))

It depends on the person but I think that it is a bad idea. Personally after a month I can remember a text and whent I start reading, everything come back as though I had just read the text a few minutes ago. Moreover your reasoning becomes skewed insofar as you can remember the answer or at least rule out the false answers as soon as you read the first word of a question. For the math section, it is even worse mainly when you are good because you remember the few questions you did not answer and tend to forget the other (nothing prevents you from doing them well again though)
I tell you this because like you I have exhausted all my BB practice tests and tried to re-do a section and everything stated above occured even though I read some texts more than six months ago.
Personally I am going to read this summer (People say it doesn’t help but I’m an non-native and I’m certain it will be different) and buy a kaplan test book which is good, I already skimmed it on a library if it can help.(I did Barron’s on pdf and seriously I deter you from buying them because they are not representative of the real SAT)

In my opinion retaking SAT tests is not a good idea, this is because SAT questions lose their effectiveness(by that I mean they are no longer tricky) if you have seen them before. Most of the SAT questions are easy once you know what to do, what makes them difficult is the initial unfamiliarity and presentation.

There are enough official SAT tests for practice and I don’t see a reason to redo the tests.

No. I looked over a practice test I did a year ago and I still vaguely remembered the CR section passages and answers.

hmm, i get your guys points. but wouldn’t be beneficial in lets say developing a strategy? a reinforcing the certain types of questions that are asked, and still trying to read critically? i can tell you that i don’t remember most of the answers, so wouldn’t i get SOME benefit from trying to practice a strategy?
