Is RIT's (Rochester Institute of Technology) program considered well known and top rated?

I want to apply yo RIT, but I want to make sure of a few questions. I am 17 and going to be a senior in high school. I know the school of Imaging Arts and Sciences is well known, but how about their degree in Graphic Design? Is there any current students in the program and did you feel it was a good program to be in and gave you the opportunities to advance yourself? Also, on RIT as a whole did you like the experience and is their a social life at the school, many people say on student reviews that there is just students on their computers 24/7.

I suspect that although posters here may be aware of RIT, I don’t think there aren’t any graphic design students here who go to RIT. Therefore, try asking this question in the RIT subforum (look under “Colleges and Universities”) or simply forward your questions to the school/have them connect you with a graphic design student.

Thank you!

I’d post this on the RIT thread since it is school specific.
