<p>I've heard that San Diego is a dry campus and not a lot of people go out or drink. Ismthat true?</p>
<p>There are fines associated with being caught with alcohol or in the presence if you are on campus. That being said Missions Beach is a short 5 minute drive and is referred to as a mini USD and is probably considered the heart of the social scene. As Gosimoes pointed out it is a “normal” college experience!</p>
