is secretary a good position?

So obviously president and vice president of honor societies looks good. But what about being secretary? Do colleges think of this as showing a leadership role?

Definitely.

Yeah, it’s good. Not as good as president/vice president, but a lot better than nothing. You should run if you haven’t already.

Thanks guys. I’m only a sophomore and I’m on the ballot for secretary and I was just wondering if it was worth doing.

It is! Just from experience, though, in clubs like the “honor societies”, etc., the leadership positions usually go to the upperclassmen. Like, the seniors or the rising seniors. But who knows? Anything could happen. Good luck!
