is Syracuse that much of a bad city?

im a junior and on TheU.com it saysits an industrialized city. and its really ugly. im from new york (Brooklyn) and i like this school but i also like BU more. i like it here cause the early decision acceptance is alot better than BU's. WHAT SHOULD I DO!

i want to major in BioChemistry and minor in Fine Arts. i also want to end off going to Med School after.

TheU.com must have been cribbing off the 1962 Encyclopaedia Brittanica. Syracuse hasn’t been an “industrialized city” since the 1970s. Syracuse is a post-industrial city. Lots of old 19th and early 20th century warehouses and industrial blocks, many of which are being converted for both residential and commercial uses and even the SU School of Architecture. Further out in the burbs post-war industrial structures are being chopped up and taken over by start-up tech companies and satellite offices of established firms. If you live in Brooklyn you’ve frankly seen far worse than Syracuse (also fay better). If you want to get a look at how the city actually LOOKS go to someplace like Skyscraperpage.com or skyscrapercity.com and follow the links to “Northeast cities”: there are some excellent photo spreads contributed by posters on those sites.

yeah, i looked at Google Maps and saw the streetview for Syracuse and its def. NOT a industrialized city. its pretty nice and Brooklyn is alot worse lol
