Is temple good for freshman considering a career in the medical field?

Need help deciding between Penn State and Temple. I intend to do one of the following after graduation.
A) go to physical therapy school
B) go to med school
C) work in public health
I’m a student that does well in classes from 1-100 students. I like both the city and the small town feel.
Temple will take my 4 courses I completed in community college where Penn state will only take 1-2.
If I choose penn state I will have to go to a summer session.
I like the Penn state vibe and spirit better then temple.
Penn state will be 3 hours from my house and Temple will be about and 1.5 hours away.
I have some friends at temple already and none at PSU.
Can anyone with experience with both schools weigh in?

Temple is perfectly fine for your goals. Is one of these cheaper than the other? That could affect your choice too.

I’d vouch for Temple, for sure. Philadelphia gives you a nice mix of the big city and small town vibe. Being close to home will prove to be really nice, and since you already have friends there, you’ll have a nice community to build off of.

@Mac2222 Either is good, but I’d lean more towards Penn State. Definitely head over to the Penn State CC forum, they can answer all questions you have. Edit: Just realized it is after the deposit deadline, lol. Where did you decide to go?
