The deadline is coming up in a few days (3/18) so I'm trying to figure out if its even worth paying $80 for a test that I might not even pass/get a high enough score on to get college credit. I hate timed essays and when I did the mock ap exam I sucked at it. I'm really doubting my chances. I know its supposed to look good and all but is it worth taking?

My sister was in the same boat as you last year when she was deciding to take the exam. She felt unprepared for the test and thought that she might score a 1 or 2. However, when she got the test back, she was pleasantly surprised to see that she had gotten a 5. I would take the test because all you would lose is $80 if you dont do well.

^ $80 is a lot of money for some people…
I say go for it though. If you’re taking the class, you should be fine. Besides, this exam tests general knowledge more so than any other AP exam. If you are a well-informed citizen who can logically present ideas you could probably get a 2 or 3 based on that alone.
