Is the Cornell Financial Aid Good?

I heard that Cornell doesn't offer as much aid as the other Ivies, especially with regards to international students. I live in Canada and I'm wondering if they will give me aid (30k+ per year) because I will definitely need it.

Does anyone know?

Thanks

bump…

Starting the past school year, Cornell made the decision to match the aid offered at the other Ivy League schools + MIT + Stanford, if I remember correctly. I don’t know how it applies to non-US residents, though. It might be best to just check out the university’s financial aid website: [Financial Aid](http://www.finaid.cornell.edu/)

Canada is good for aid. (they will give full tuition if your financial information shows the need)

How much do your guardians make?
<x free/loan (small one?).

No. But then again, it really isn’t anywhere else either these days.

I don’t know too much about internationally, but I’m domestic and I received fairly great aid. Going to Cornell is much cheaper (I’m out of state) than attending any of the public universities at my home state.

I’m admittedly not well of money-wise, but one of my main selling points for Cornell besides the beautiful campus and friendly people was the fact that they gave me very generous financial aid. part of that was a mcmullen dean’s scholarship, but I think if it weren’t there then my grant would just be higher.
