I think I might have to accept their insurance but I'm not sure, is this going to be an additional $1700 On Top of the $56,000 estimated by them?

Its not included in the costs. However, you can write to your financial aid counselor to ask for additional scholarship funds to offset this cost.

I’m not sure…but I thought it was included as it did not add anything to my bill and was automatically included. If you had not accepted it I think it would take away from your bill.

^so sdr691, you think it is automatically included? Could you please tell me what was your total bill (including room/board/meal place/ etc). That might help me figure out how they do the charges for insurance. I know the estimated Total is 56k but that wont be same as the actual charge to your account because it includes personal expenses/books and other things.

^never mind, I went to the billing account and it shows the insurance automatically included in the charges. I would gladly drop these 1700 dollars but I guess the insurance is necessary in case something goes wrong, I dont know.
