Is the PLAN test a good indicator of what your ACT will be?

I took my PLAN test this year and thought it was incredibly easy (except for the geometry part which I did horrible on), I got into the 93-99 percentile for college bound sophmores for science, reading, and english and was wondering if my estimated act score (28-32) is a good indicator of what I'll get on my ACT with some preparation, practice tests, and learning the stuff that's on it. So, how did your PLAN compare with your ACT, and did you prep for it at all?

CoreyS: PLAN is a good indicator, but that doesn't mean you'll end up with that score. Depending on the amount of preparation and effort you put into studying for the ACT, you can score higher. The opposite is true if you don't prepare well enough.

I got a 28 on the Plan (out of 32, right?) as a sophomore, and I got a 34 as a junior. Hope that helps.

My PLAN was also lower by several points than my actual ACT score. Improvement is not only possible, but likely.

I got a 28 on the plan and a 33 ACT equiv on the SAT...and I'm betting i nailed the ACT at a 34 or so. I'd say it's a good indicator. It shows that at your grade level you can handle a fast paced test. and that's all the ACT is. Fast. Not hard.

33 range on the PLAN, 34 on the ACT.
