Is the readmission process easier?

I was a freshman at Dillard University withdrew to a community college and I plan on going back under readmission. The only thing is that my gpa is a 2.06 and transfer requirement in 2.00…They said a 2.0 is all I need and I can come back.

Do you think I still have a good chance of being accepted again since I attended Dillard before? My GPA at Dillard is a 2.7…

You can try

Before you think about returning to Dillard, you should spend some time considering the reasons for the 2.06 at the community college. What are you doing (and what are you not doing) that has resulted in your grades being that low? Is there any chance that you really don’t want to be in college right now? If that is the case, take some more time off and get a job. Go back to college when you are truly ready to commit to your studies.

Did you withdraw and it’s just a matter of going back? Or do you have to apply as a new student?

Yes, I’m applying under readmit

First of all I had a 2.7 GPA my freshman year while attending Dillard. I transfered to another college and I received a 2.0 because I failed a class…I’m serious about school now and all I need is a 2.0 to return back to Dillard…if my GPA meets the requirement should I worry?

If they basically said they would readmit you as long as you have a 2.0, it sounds like you’re good.

I received a D and an F in two of my classes but I went back and took two more classes and passed. Will this ruin my chances of being accepted? or does my good academic standing at the University save my butt
