I want to know so I don't get the wrong text book.

That is the one I used

really??? it said Atkins though.......

by the way, do we need the "Web CT"? What's a "trasmitter"?

This page has a list of Chem 1A courses from previous semesters.

Summer 2006: Syllabus- http://www.cchem.berkeley.edu/chem1a/summer06/Files/UC2006Chem1ASyllabus.doc

It says Zumdahl here but if you are positively sure then by all means go ahead

Web CT is just a way to monitor your scores, you will take your pre-lab quizzes online and your test and lab/homework scores will all eventually be posted there.

As for the transmitters, they are used to respond to in class concept checks, the day after exams we were given the most frequently missed mc question and asked to try again, by using the transmiters and pointing them at the roof you can make a selection. They can be found in the student store I believe.

Transmitter = extra credit of 5%!

I looked on the student store site, and it says that atkins is the author. You should wait till welcome week to buy this book. Theres a different prof this semester. I guess he wanted to change the book.
