<p>I’m not sure why this story would lead you to guess that Bowdoin is taking more off the wait list than usual. Bowdoin is SAT optional and the kid probably did not submit his SAT scores.</p>
<p>I just got a letter today about the Summer Waiting List. It says that Bowdoin’s class is full, but they may take a few more students over the next few weeks. It also makes it clear that they’re likely not going to have any more room for people who need financial aid. I’m staying on it, but things don’t look too great at this point.</p>
