Is there a discount for phone contracts??

<p>I'm from Germany and I will start at penn state at spring 2014. I have a question regarding apple products and phone contracts.
Since my phone and my laptop aren't working anymore I need both to buy new. I want to buy a macpro with the education discount for 999 usd, is it right that I can buy it in a store as well? I do not have an american credit card, and the online store doesn't take german credit cards, so I can only buy it in a store, but I still want the education discount...</p>

<p>second, I have read something about that psu students can get a discount on phone contracts from at&t, t-mobile, ... Right now I am interested in buying a new iphone and the tmobile 30usd plan (prepaid, 150 minutes of calling, unlimited texting and 5 gb data web)
Do you know or think I should waite with my purchase until orientation, because it is possible that I can get a discount or a special contract or whatever? </p>

<p>I will arrive a few days earlier in the states before orientation starts and also, I do not know at which day from the orientation we will talk about phone contracts options... But I guess it would be good to have a laptop and a cell phone before, but of course I would waite if I can get another discount through penn state... can anyone help me in this situation?</p>

<p>you can get education pricing in an apple retail store if you ask, yes.</p>

<p>However i’m no help for the phone question. I would probably have that done before international orientation however</p>

<p>before to buy or get you carrier make sure to ask the employer about these discounts apply.it will better for you to know the monthly bill.</p>
