Is there a GPA benchmark at Duke?

Hi all, one thing I never get a straight answer to because of how relative it is is if there is a certain GPA bar where once you’re above it, you’re good. I asked this to a Duke rep at my school and his answer wasn’t very clear. On a standard 5.0 weighted scale (+ .5 for honors & +1.0 for AP) is there a certain gpa bar for duke where once u pass it, ur good. I would love your guys’s input because i believe I have a 3.83 UW with a 4.42 weighted due to my honors and AP. Its okay, but disregarding other things, is it enough?

Weighted GPA has no meaning outside your own HS. Here is the Duke 2022 class profile: https://admissions.duke.edu/images/uploads/process/Classof2022profileWEB.pdf

They don’t release accepted GPA numbers. The SAT and ACT middle 50s are 1490-1560 and 33-35, respectively. The Duke admissions process is highly holistic, and even perfect GPA test score combinations are not “safe” or “enough”. Your stats might be ok, but only as part of a strong application.

Edit: Weighted, not unweighted.

What do you think if my school is considered normal rigor?
