<p>I live in Arizona and ASU has a honors college called Barret(definitely not going there. I hate how hot it is here). Does the University of Washington have anything similar?</p>
<p>Also, how would I get in and what are the requirements?</p>

<p>Yeah it does, but I’ve heard that non-departmental Honors is a waste of credits and only departmental actually means something. Just what I’ve heard from a few people.</p>
<p>Do the honor program with your department especially if you are thinking about grad school. Its worth doing it since you can use it as your honor thesis/research, and or as a writing sample. I did general honors at a different college. You are required to put too much Time and effort. I also felt that the professors made it extremely challenging and hard. You will spent your time just studying for things that are not going to be part of your research or advanced studying. </p>
