Ok, so I am an up and coming junior looking at some college options. One of my choices is Cornell, however, there is one factor I must digress. I have been taking a couple evening classes at a community college all along while maintaining my IB diploma highschool curriculum. I have heard that some colleges require that even if you have yet to graduate highschool, if you have X amount of transferable credits, then you apply as a transfer instead of a freshmen. Does cornell have such a number?

it might vary by college…but i think the general rule is that if you have 15 or more college credits you will enter as a transfer…

but if those college credits counted as dual-credit (i.e. you used them to also fulfill high school requirements) then they dont count.

There isn’t, but you can’t use more than 60 non-Cornell credits toward your diploma in most colleges.
