Is there an undergrad school ranking for Applied math,Stats and Economics majors?

Is there an undergrad school ranking for Applied math,Stats and Economics majors?
thanks.

Don’t know of a specific ranking, but a student interested in this should check out the MMSS program at Northwestern (=Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences). Don’t have a link handy, but it’s an easy google. It combines high levels of applied math and stats with the social science major of one’s choice (and econ is the most popular).

Don’t know of any Applied Math rankings at the undergraduate level, but FWIW, here is the latest National Research Council ranking of Applied Math PhD programs:

Princeton
Harvard
UCLA
MIT
Brown
Cornell
UC Davis
Northwestern
UT Austin
Univ. Washington
Caltech
NYU Courant

[Ranking of Applied Mathematics Graduate Schools — PhDs.org Graduate School Guide](http://graduate-school.phds.org/rankings/applied-mathematics/rank/__M_____________________________________________________________U)

You can use the same website to find rankings of Statistics and Economics PhD programs, though I assume you are asking about undergraduate Applied Math programs that incorporate Statistics and Economics, and not Statistics and Economics separately.

Actually, most undergraduate Applied Math majors, where offered, require or encourage inclusion of Statistics courses, so the Stats part you get for free. Also, most of them provide for “tracks” in fields where Math is applied – the usual suspects are Economics, Computer Science, and Physics – so you can often get Economics for free too.

Note that in the list above, not all colleges offer an Applied Math major. I know that Harvard and Brown do, while Princeton offers an Applied Math minor (Certificate in PACM) only; you still have to major in something else – maybe Econ in your case. MIT and Cornell offer Applied Math tracks within the Math major. Northwestern’s MMSS program is highly regarded and, at least several years ago, you can (have to?) apply to it when you apply for admission.
