Is there any chance that college board made a mistake with my ap score?

I took two AP exams: AP Language & Composition and AP United States History. I expected to get a 4 on English and a 5 on history, but instead I received a 5 in English and a 3 on history. While I was pleased with my English score, I'm confused by my history score because I'm really good at history. Is there any way a mistake was made? Is it possible to get College Board to score my test again?

Also, do you think a 3 on an AP test would be detrimental to my chances of getting into an Ivy League school? I don't expect to get into one, I'm just wondering.

AP scores have little to no impact on college admissions. Many people don’t even send the scores in. If anything, colleges would use it after your admission to help you determine your class placements.

It’s doubtful a mistake was made, but if you want to pay the money to get the MC rescored, go right ahead. AP scores weigh little in the admissions process; they are generally used for placement or credut.

Great job on the 5, though.
