Is there any hope left for CPP?

I have been on Ready for Decision for so long now. I have an index of 3716 and applying under CS. GPA weighted is 3.27 and unweighted is about 2.95. SAT for for Math and CR is 550 and 500 so total of 1050. I just got weight-listed to UCR today but I really want to get in Cal Poly. What do you think my chances are or is it too late at this point for an acceptance?

I’m CS as well and no one I know that applied for CS has been accepted so far. I think the department is just taking their sweet ass time and will release all their decisions at the same time.

I know some Freshman applicants that were finally accepted last year in April. I would hang in there, especially if CPP is your top choice.

Based on your stats and major it is unlikely, but, they haven’t told you NO yet - so there is hope.

I would suggest you begin to think about alternate plans though…

Good luck.

A lot of my friends and I still don’t have decisions, actually. My stats: 3.3 UW GPA + 27 ACT

My major is psychology and I haven’t been accepted yet. It’s probably cause my GPA and test scores are below average. My friends with high GPAs and good test scores already got acceptances.

@mechEinTraining‌ Incorrect

There still is hope! My friend just got waitlisted yesterday, even though he has decent grades and great scores. He was accepted to CSULB and 2 UCs, but his major is engineering… My other friend with low GPA and test scores was accepted with his major as hospitality management.

@mechEinTraining‌ i second that. Everything now is all rejections I have a 3.5 gpa and avg act scores 22 and I applied for cs so its just rejections and very few acceptances

@mechEinTraining‌ I’m pretty sure it involves what major you’re applying for.
@shadelz‌ Be optimistic, there’s still hope.

I have a 1480 SAT math and critical reading combined. GPA 3.68. I haven’t heard anything yet. I applied for MechE.

I wonder if they’ll really consider Secondary Majors.
