Is there any (hopefully easy) way I can go about regaining my Florida residency?

Long story short, I lived in Florida from about 1997 until 2011 and went entirely through grade school there if that's relevant. In early 2011 my mom whom I'm dependent on decided to move to Texas. She's also disabled and I tend to be the one providing care for her

I basically had no way of supporting myself on my own also, there was no choice but to move. I initially wanted to start college in Florida but that could not happen obviously so I decided to start online my freshman year. With that completed I'm certain that I want to move back to Florida and transfer to a University there, but on the status on in/out state tuition, I'm dreading.

So is there any possible way that an exception can be made for that, and if not would I be able to get it in at least a shorter amount of time living there than another person? Or will I just have to sit it out like everyone else? Thank you for any and all help, I'm very ignorant to the subject of this.

I desire to go to FIU is it matters.
