Is there any one can rank the difficulty of the following Math Course?

College Algebra
Plane Trig
Finite Math with application
Elements of Calculus with application
Calculus 1
Fundamental Math

This is kind of a guess, because I don't exactly understand what some of the courses mean (like Finite Math with application), but here's my ranking from hardest to easiest -

Calculus 1
Elements of Calculus with application
Plane Trig
College Algebra
Finite Math with application
Fundamental Math

Really depends on the course. I've seen algebra and geometry that's more difficult than multivariable calculus.

I suspect College Algebra is Linear Algebra, which I've heard is quite hard.

I've been thru trig, calc 1 (Calc AB), fundamental math (hopefully), and they are not hard. My ordering, excluding college algebra (hardest to easiest):

Plane Trig
Elements of Calculus with application
Calculus 1
Finite Math with application
Fundamental Math

College algebra is not necessarily linear algebra. Sometimes it is just math before calculus as a review or something.

In that case, I would put it below Calculus 1.

It also depends on what type of learner/thinker you are. My chemistry teacher was a nut for calculus, spent nights reviewing her college calc books for fun (big nerd, but I loved her for it), but could NOT stand geometry. Spacial differences and dimensions were really difficult. But for others, probably more visual people, geometry makes total sense but calc is like, ***? i'm sure it could be the same with planar trig.

^Uhoh, so visual learners don't do good with calc? I'm screwed then. XD

I loved geometry, does that mean I'll hate calc? :D

^^^ Not exactly. I loved geometry because Ifound it easier than algebra, but I also have the highest grade in my calc class (at the moment).

I'm pretty sure that College Algebra is just like a combination of Algebra I and Algebra II or something similar.

college algebra != linear algebra

There is a small visual element to Calculus. Being able to visualize a limit or integrals is helpful. Also the different types of volume and area in Calculus can be tricky but if you can see what is happening, the integrals become easier.

Honestly, that site's syllabus looked exactly like alg.1 and alg.2 combined....
