Is there any student-produced musical theater at Grinnell?

And is it any good?

I see that the theater department is putting on “Sunday in the Park with George.” There is a student-run theater group called the Neverland Players, which takes stories written by elementary students and turns them into skits (just taking this info from the website for you…). I would suggest contacting the school and seeing if there’s a student or a professor you can talk to about theatre.

I do know that Grinnell is very receptive to students starting new clubs. The Student Government Association is well-funded. For musical theater, I guess the question would be critical mass: are there generally enough students who go out for theater at Grinnell to make such a club work?

Yes, I’ve read the website. It didn’t really answer my question, which is why I posted on here.

I really wouldn’t have enough musical theater experience to start a club. I’m interested in doing it in college, but I have no experience as of yet.
