Is there any way for american students to receive financial aid to British schools?

I was thinking of applying to Oxford or Birmingham University because I have family there and I know that its hard for american students to get scholarships for british schools, but I was wondering if there is anyway to get some financial aid?

You’re eligible to received US federal student loans to attend some international schools.

There’s a link to Excel spread sheet here: https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/prepare-for-college/choosing-schools/types/international#participating-schools

@TN034154 To save you wasting your time, Oxford offers no financial to American undergraduate students. You can take out Federal loans, but they won’t cover the full cost of being an overseas student. The only UK university that offers substantial financial aid to Americans is St Andrews. But you literally need to be Pell Grant eligible and they still only cover about 30% of tuition.

You can bet on UK schools costing around 40K a year once you factor in living and travel. There are no bargains.

My son’s all in budget for his first year at Oxford (this current year) is $50k.
