I went to the Academic Planning/Advising day a week or two ago, and I feel like I made the wrong decision with my class scheduling. I haven't gotten my actual schedule yet but I want to make sure I have enough credits for my first semester.

Is there any way I can contact them to make changes? And if so, who should I get in touch with?

Not sure how long it will take someone to answer you here, so this is what I would do: contact the Dean’s office of the school you will be attending (SAS, Engineering, Business, etc) and ask them who your academic advisor is or who you should talk to about scheduling.

Hey, though talking with your advisor is a good idea, I do not think you should be too worried. The schedule you get in August doesn’t have to be your final schedule.
The APA packet says:
“Your fall schedule will be available online in mid-August. We’ll send you an email when it’s ready for viewing! If your interests change after you complete your Course Request Form, you’ll be able to make schedule adjustments during the add/drop period at the beginning of the semester.”

The add/drop period is a number of weeks where you can add new courses, get special permision numbers to got into closed ones, or drop a class you’re no longer interested in. Changing classes he at Rutgers during that period is actually pretty simple so you have plenty of time to figure everything out.

I realize ragu still has add/drop period ahead, but if the scheduling problem is severe, I would still contact the advisor.

Some classes allow special permission numbers, but not all. And sometimes the numbers run out. I think it’s better to address known problems sooner than later, if possible. They may just tell you that you have to wait til add/drop, but at least you know you did what you could.
