Is there anyone who got in, but never had housing/FA change?

Few of my best friends applied ED to NYU. One of them just got FA change and other one did not. I’m just confused because one who didn’t get FA change is very qualified and she applied FA as well… (one who got FA change did not even apply FA)
It just does not make sense to us so… yeah.
Or Is it pretty accurate that If you have FA change -> got in, if you don’t have FA chance -> didn’t get in.

Thank you!

I have two D’s who went to NYU. This was before the hysteria of all these changes really took hold, but I’ve been following these boards near decision time for years.

I would say that if someone does get the financial aid change–or when they log in and see tabs that say both student and applicant, these are fairly certain indications that they are accepted.

But, if these changes cannot be viewed, it does not mean anything. These changes are entered over time for accepted students. It is very possible to be accepted and have your financial aid reviewed later than others. This will affect when these forms change. So if you don’t see the changes, it does not mean that you didn’t get in.

nvm i figured out. FA does not matter at all. My friend who got the change got rejected and my friend who did not get the change just got deferred…lol
