Is this a deal breaker for Ivies?

I am hoping to get accepted to an Ivy League school (hopefully Cornell).

I have a 34 ACT, 3.9 UW GPA (4.35 Weighted), and outstanding extracurriculars

However, I have only taken three AP's even though my high school offers more. I have gotten a 5 on all exams. Would the fact that I only have 3 AP's basically eliminate me as a competitive candidate?

How many AP’s are offered in your school?

Three AP’s by junior year is fine, but we really need more context. What AP’s have you taken? What is your current and next year’s schedule? What do you plan to study in college?

@skieurope I will finish high school with only 3 AP’s. My school functions differently than other high schools, and during senior year, students complete internships and other things so I don’t have a way of getting more AP’s. I am hoping to attend the Hotel School @ Cornell and have quite a bit of hospitality experience, which I feel gives me a leg up. I think that I have all of the credentials besides the numerous AP’s that many prospects have. What do you think? Is it possible for me to be a competitive applicant?

If your guidance counselor says that yours was the most rigorous schedule possible, and you write great essays, it shouldn’t hurt you. Great stats BTW. Congrats.
