Superscored, my ACT score is a 30 and i was wondering if this is up to par for UF or other Florida universities?
You will have to check each school’s website to see if they superscore the ACT, and to see what the mid-50% range of admitted and/or enrolled students is.
Here is UF’s info for the class of 2023: https://admissions.ufl.edu/apply/freshman/ UF does superscore the ACT and the 25%-75% range is 29-33, so your 30 is in this middle 50% range. You can also check each school’s common data set for enrolled student test scores.
Good luck.
A 30 puts you in 93rd percentile nationally and qualifies for full bright futures.
The only thing I would add is that this is the first year that UF is super scoring the ACT. This means that last year‘s range only included best single attempts. So we should expect that ACT scores will be higher this year. A more accurate comparison would be to look at your best single attempt compared to last year‘s range. That being said, I think a 30 super scored helps you more than it hurts you with UF.
It is a very good score for other state schools. Note that UCF does not super score the ACT.
