Is this a good course transcript?

The following courses I have/plan to take throughout my high school years. Please give me ANY input that you have. I plan to apply to Ivies, Stanford, UC Berkeley, and some safeties. thanks in advance :)

I took CP (regular) Geometry first semester, but decided to switch out into honors the next semester.
This course is the visual/performing arts requirement for UC/CSU schools
AP English Language does NOT include the composition part.
*AP American Studies is essentially AP US History plus the Composition portion of AP English Language and Composition
*
***AP US Government is taken the first semester, while Honors Economics is taken the second.

please no rude comments! i am NOT trying to be pretentious, i just want some serious advice on my courses, i.e., if i should take easier/harder courses during what years, or if i should self-study any courses, etc.

It is a great schedule. Just focus on doing well on it.

No physics? I had the same science classes as you, except instead of AP Chem junior year, I'm taking honors physics.

Looks good, but what grade are you? Remember, your interests might drastically change over the next few years. When I first came to high school I was dead set on taking as many math and science courses as I could and the bare minimum English and Social studies. I ended up having an interest in the humanities that wasn't sparked until the end of 10th grade, and next year I won't even be taking a science course.

I'm just asking why you're planning out all four years. Take it one year at a time.

But either way, yes that looks like an amazing plan.

Good luck :D.

^ I did that too. You should have seen what I planned my 4 year schedule to look like. It was ridiculous! I had AP Calc in there... I didn't even make it to pre-calc. I laugh when I see it now. XD I had myself dropping band junior year to fit in AP classes and stuff... and then as it turned out junior year was my favorite year of band, and I only took like 2 AP courses my whole high school career (of course, I wasn't particularly motivated to go to college, so I likely differed a lot in that respect).

It's all well and good to plan, but just keep in mind that it'll probably change, and be flexible and open to new interests as they come.

Looks good, but are you just entering high school? And I totally agree about your interests possibly changing. I cared very little for English at the end of my freshman year (particularly due to a very lazy and unmotivated teacher), but it's become something of a passion of mine as of late (I'm a rising senior).

ummm, no matter what your interests, you HAVE to take some sort of physics. Regualr, honors, ap does not matter. But if u applying to a top college some sort of physics is almost mandatory.

^ No you don't. Why is it on here that physics is the be all and end all? I have two friends who didn't take physics. One is headed to Yale this fall and one is heading to MIT. And I know literally dozens who are heading to UMich who didn't take physics.

I agree, you don't have to take Physics. Your transcript looks great!

At my school, nearly no kid takes physics. particularly because there isn't enough room. This year, we had kids who were except to all the Ivies (except Harvard), CalTech, Northwestern, Michigan, Georgetown, a lot to Duke, UF, USC, and many more. My school gets their kids into very prestigious colleges, but more than half NEVER take a physics class.

i truly thank everyone who has replied! Just to elaborate on some things and answer some questions.

*I'm an incoming Sophomore.
*About AP Physics: I don't plan to major in any science but I do plan on being a teacher (though i might get a double major). I have the option of taking AP Physics B senior year, but since I did well in Biology, I figured I should take that instead. Any advice?
*I am pretty rigid about taking these (or similar) courses, but I do understand that my interests might change during the years.

Wait until you take chem before you decide to take AP. I personally love chem, but most don't. Definitely consider changing that to AP Bio and AP Physics senior year. and see if you can take spanish senior year

^ I'm actually suppose to take AP Spanish Lang senior year but I've decided to skip Honors Spanish 7/8. And about chem, I'm taking honors in 10th and AP in 11. For science i can do the following:
11th - AP Chemistry, AP Biology, Physics (regular), or Physiology (regular)
12th - AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Physics B, or Physiology (regular)
