Here are my next year's courses (junior year):
AP US
AP Chem
AP Calculus AB
Honors English (no AP offered)
Honors Japanese 4th year (no AP offered)

I have space for two more classes but these are my only choices:
AP Econ/Honors American Democracy (1 Semester each)
AP Physics C

Should I take one or both of those classes or leave them for senior year?

If i were you, i'd do Physics C. It's a very tough course and if you do well it will look very solid when u apply. Maybe try an independent study in Econ. If you want, cram in econ in the last month before the test and you can pull off a 4-5 on the tests. Getting several 5s, especially in the tough APs will look very good. good luck!

I'd do the former. Phys C is insanely hard, and unless you're intending to study engineering, science, or premedicine, it's completely useless. You don't ever have to see that stuff again. But then I abhor science with all of my heart.

If you don't really like science, then don't do AP Phys C. I know a few people in it and they hate it and stongly discourage it. Only do it if you LOVE science. And even if you do it, at the first sign of "huh? I don't get it." DROP IT IMMEDIATELY.

I abhor science so I'm definitely skipping science next year (I'll be a senior) anyways good luck.

Thanks for the tips. I need a little bit more input before i can come to a decision. Thanks everyone in advance it's greatly appreciated =]

(I forgot to note the only senior classes I'm left with after junior year: all AP Lit, Calc BC, Japanese, *Econ, *PhysC. meaning if i take those junior year i'll have one less course to take senior year forcing me to go to community college or something..)

Sorry. The question is - Should I tack on AP Econ or not? (this will leave me without a history/social science course for senior year unfortunately)

I'd wait off on Physics C until you've had a solid foundation of Calculus....I'm sure you could handle it right now, but you're already taking AP Chemistry. I'd go with AP Econ/Honors American Democracy.

Would this be a hard schedule for junior year?

AP Physics
AP Chem
AP US History
AP Calc BC
AP Comp Sci
English 11 Honors
Spanish 4

I can take Calc BC next year if I want or stick with Math Analysic and take AP Physics or just regular. However both classes I would need to take in Senior year? Are there too many hard questions here? Thanks.

That looks hard to me, but then again, that's me. If you're planning on majoring in the sciences, taking more than one science class makes sense to me. If you want to take AP Physics, choose Calc BC over Math Analysis. Good luck on that next year.
