Is this a good EC activity?

My freshman year of college I plan on teaching little kids Hebrew. This will not be a teaching job, just volunteering. It will be once a week for about 2 -3 hours. Will that look good on a college application in addition to other things?

Is this something for graduate school....?

Because you can't put something that you are 'going to do' on your undergrad college application. There would be no weight or validity for something you have yet to do.

If you are doing it now, then you can put it on your app and yes, it is a nice thing. Not amazing but still app worthy but not something you are going to do in college!

No, I understand that. I should have explained myself more. I am going to transfer schools after my freshman year. During my freshman year of college I am going to teach kids Hebrew. So yes, I am doing this during college.

I also have an additional question. I plan on transferring to a better school after my freshman year. This is because in H.S. I did horrible with almost no ECs, but ALOT of work experience. I plan on doing some volunteer work this summer and throughout my freshman year of college. Just listing some general things I have done throughout my HS career can you guys help me out with what I can improve on?

Filming/Acting (Amateur Films)- over 2 years
Working at a local restaurant (2 1/2 years, 20 hours a week)
Working at Quiznos (7 months, 25 hours a week)

That is really all I have as of now. During the summer and school year, I am going to do much more. I already have a different job that I am currently getting about 25 hours a week for. I may take up a sport in my freshman year of college, and depending how it works out I plan to stick with it (obviously for future reference).

What more can I do to make my ECs and volunteering stand out? I don't want too much but just enough for some schools to notice my dedication to the community. Thanks in advance!

Bump!!!!! Can anyone help?
