is this a good pre-med schedule?

bio w/ lab and recitation-4
chem w/ recitation-4
econ w/ recitation-3
history of sports (UHC)-3

I'm actually pre dental ATM but I wanted to take it kinda easy my first semester to get used to everything. The history of sports is an elective and I have a slight interest in economics which is why I signed up for that...all of it adds up to 14 credits. My advisor was cool but didn't really give any guidance as far as how I should set up my schedule.

I think that looks like a good schedule for a freshman premed student.

where’s the math?

I know med schools want the lab component of the chemistry class and I believe some of the dental schools want that too. Did you place out of the math class? Dental colleges want the math class. Do you have an idea of which college you want to go to or are you planning to apply for Pitt’s program? Obviously you will want to satisfy the requirements for all the programs you will apply to so make sure you know what they are. And if there is any chance you will switch to pre-med, make sure you are fulfilling those requirements too.

Yeah, I would definitely take chem w/ lab. Math you could probably fit in later.
