Is this a good schedule for Sophomore.

I am a few weeks into school and the deadline for changing classes without penalization is approaching. I just wanted to know how strong my schedule is and should I make any changes.

Bible
Algebra 2/Geometry
Honor American Literature
Honors Chemistry
Health
French Intermediate
AP Macroeconomics
AP U.S. Government
AP Human Geography

My school is like a homeschool/ private school hybrid and they compare us and I know that no one else in my grade matches or exceeds it.
I this strong/ competitive for Ivies and other top colleges?
Any impute would be greatly appreciated.

What grade are you in? I’d say this is an EXCELLENT schedule for freshmen, brilliant for sophomore, average for Junior and Senior. Does your school offer French H and Math H? It would be an added plus if you took those as well.

As much as I’d like to agree with Raven, i’m going to flat out say that at least honors math is going to be essential for serious consideration in the Ivy league pool. The french really is an added bonus though, and if you stick with it, I’m sure it’d help you greatly in the admissions process.

@raventhemage and @psychicphics, my school does not offer honors math or French. I took all the course that they would let me, they offer regular Algebra 2 and Geometry separate though.

From another sophomore:

This is a fine schedule. So far as math goes, if you take Calculus by senior year you’ll be fine.
