Is this a good schedule?

I'm going to be a freshman in the fall....what do you think of this schedule..?

Math 54
Chem 1A
E10
Econ 1

Is econ 1 a difficult class? I've already done AP chem so Chem 1A shouldn't be very hard, and I heard E10 isn't that bad. I'm trying to make sure I take it somewhat easy since it's first semester freshman year...thanks for any advice :)

e10 is really easy, chem1a should be review material, though it will be a good intro to berkeley testing styles. this seems like a pretty good schedule. econ 1...is this for humanities? i'm assuming by your schedule you're engineering. if you have somewhat of an interest in econ and/or have past experience with taking classes in hs, then it will not be too difficult. i didn't take it personally, but i have heard many say that the tests are relatively challenging.

I'm taking econ because I want to try out some other classes and see what else interests me...I'm not even sure I want to do engineering. I'm thinking of doing Physics 7A instead of Math 54...do you think Physics 7A will be easier than Math 54?

Well, which professor you get will strongly influence the difficulty of the class. I feel that Math 54 is easier than Physics 7A until the very end of differential equations (double Fourier Series and what not), at which point I'd say Physics 7A is easier. I still thought that Physics 7A was kind of moderately easy, though.

go for at least 15 units

Isn't that 15?

phys, chem, econ = 4
e10 = 3
