So I know penn's supplement this year is why you believe you are a good fit for a certain school at penn. One of the main things I wanted to talk about was penn's undergrad research opportunities but I know that is a feature to the whole university. So is research a good idea to talk about or should I go with a more specific quality about the college of arts and sciences (the one I'm applying to).

I would think that research opportunities (e.g., Penn’s CURF–Google it if you’re unfamiliar with it) is an appropriate topic to discuss in this year’s supplement essay, if it’s something you’re interested in pursuing. Undergraduate research is a big part of Penn’s ethos, and I can’t imagine that they’d want to exclude it as a topic from application essays.

Ok thank you! I actually wrote about research and a specific major in CAS that I wish to pursue.
