Hey guys, I'm applying CAS RD for pre-med to UPenn. I was working on the supplement and after doing some research, I just wanted to make sure the topics i would be discussing in the essay would be interesting and good enough. I tried to stay away from topics I had already mentioned in my CommonApp essays (short and long): big brothers big sisters and cultural activities.

This is the topic: Considering both the specific undergraduate school or program to which you are applying and the broader University of Pennsylvania community, what academic, research, and/or extracurricular paths do you see yourself exploring at Penn? (one-page limit, approx.. 500 words).

I thought I'd mention my ambitions to do pediatric oncology and tie in volunteering for CHOP and some research projects that i searched in curf. I also plan on writing about wanting to be involved in the Kelly Writer House because of my passion for literature (i plan on minoring in it) along with the Asha for Education program

are these topics sufficient? relevant? interesting enough?
or should I stick with things i can talk more about like my participation in environmental clubs and tutoring and such?
