Is this a good way to ask a girl to prom?

Would this be a cute way to ask this girl to prom?

Okay this girl plays softball and likes baseball so I figured I'd ask her in a way that's relating to that.

So first I'm going to make a poster/letter thing with a bunch of MLB puns, like "you are such an ANGEL, you know how to ROCKIES my SOX," and a bunch of other ones like that.

Then at the end I'm gunna ask her to meet me at the softball field since she lives right down the block from it.

And then at the field, I'm gunna have "Ball with me?" Spelt out in softballs, bats, and gloves.

And I'm going to be holding softball roses when she shows up.

Is this good or how should I change it?

Softball roses?

…

Pls no.

Unless you’re already going out with someone or are otherwise 100% sure they want to go with you, don’t ask them to prom in some dramatic way that doesn’t allow them to say no without looking like a horrible person.

I’m 100% sure she would say yes

Make sure that she isn’t already taken.

Personally I think it is too much, perhaps incorporate her interests in a way that is less dramatic/over the top.

How about just “Prom?” spelled out instead of “Ball with me”.

Do it m8. I like this.

Ball with me? Just go with prom…

Dude…that’s really good haha don’t listen to the other people telling you not to do it. Every girl likes feeling special, and that’s exactly what you’d be doing. Definitely go for it.

Do it! I’d say yes if I was her! Maybe prom with me instead but if she’ll understand what you mean if you say “ball with me” then do that. Good luck!

Thanks guys! After all this I found an even better way that isn’t too over the top but it definitely makes her feel wanted.
Thanks for the advice and opinions everyone!
