Wait … Are the people who got the email Only RD because I applied ED!!

I apply RD too and haven’t received it.

@luna27 sorry I mean all Brown applicants

Ok all hopes are Gone

hopefully this isn’t…i’d be so depressed if i don’t get in.
even though it isn’t a likely letter, i wonder why not everyone didn’t get one?

where are you guys who got it from? what region? maybe like someone indicated earlier, it’s a regional thing?

im from the midwest btw

I am from the East Coast (NJ if you want me to be specific).

I’m from NY. I know people from New York who didn’t get one and people from Cali to Texas who did and some who didn’t. Doesn’t seem to be a regional thing.

That’s unusual why would only certain applicants receive this email then?

They are going to accepted

I hope so but I don’t know

I don’t lol I didn’t get the email

I’m going to say that Fireandrain’s theories sound much more likely than that this is meant to be some barometer of where you stand.

Two people in the same area with the same first letters of last name. One received it and one did not… this email means something. Whether its a likely or not.

I agree with Fireandrain, as much as it is a solace or interesting to attempt to decipher these emails, people generally read too much into them.

I know it’s hard to wait for decisions, but trying to label a generic email as a likely letter or something else will make waiting even harder.

About 5% of emails from colleges bounce for any number of reasons. Colleges say this on their websites. Everyone add the various email addresses from the colleges you applied to to your contacts list.

Ivy day is March 29. Likely letters come by postal mail. Everyone relax.

I got the first email but not this one

maybe it signifies that your application has been read?

I received it but guys, it probably doesn’t even mean anything.

I didn’t get one :(

stats of people who received it??
