Let's just say I didn't care much for going to a good school a couple years back and made some very poor decisions.

Would you guys consider this an upward trend? It's nothing substantial, but in terms of weighted GPA, it did definitely go up. The summer program DESTROYS my GPA though, which really saddens me.

9 ( We weren't allowed to take AP's and school had no honors):

Sem 1 - UW : 4 W:4
Sem 2 - UW : 3.67 W: 3.67

Summer 9:

Took a summer class at some high school program. Didn't know grades were going to go in my GPA. Got a B. Meaning I get 2 B's for 2 semesters worth of math into my GPA . It was to skip a class.

10 ( Was allowed to choose from two AP's WHAP/Bio, Didn't like either. Didn't take one)
Sem 1 - UW: 3.83 W: 3.83
Sem 2 - UW : 4 W: 4

11( Took 3 AP's basically)

Sem 1 - UW: 3.67 W: 4.2
Sem 2 - UW: 4.0 W: 4.5

12( Taking 3 AP's currently)

Grading period 1 grades are all A+/A's so i'm at 4.5 again.

I've written essay already and so far I've gotten great reviews. Everyone seems to really like it, saying that it is fresh, genuine, and top college caliber. Unfortunately, it doesn't touch upon why my GPA is "low" and why I didn't have a rigorous schedule. Should I write one? I honestly wouldn't say anything too different from "Let's just say I didn't care much for going to a good school a couple years back and made some very poor decisions."
