Is this awkward, or am I just worried about nothing? (7 yr med programs)

Basically, I applied to two different seven year medical programs. The programs are through two different undergrad schools, but the students are eventually routed to the same medical school. In terms of admissions, after making it past the interview stage at the undergrad school. the medical school contacts you for an interview.

Here’s the awkward part: I received an email from the medical school about an interview (thank God, I really didn’t expect to)… but they didn’t specify which college the interview was arranged through. Is it weird for me to email back and ask them to specify? I feel like I might be worried about nothing, but I’m not sure if it looks weird or not. I mean, would I expect the medical school to interview me twice (once through each school)? Is this a combined interview? WHAT DO I DO?
Like it’s especially awkward because I don’t hear anything from the undergrad school directly. I don’t want to call up the undergrad school, because it’s really weird for them to know that I applied to a different program as well.

Tell me, CC, am I crazy for worrying about this?

Possibly when you write back the medical school to confirm your interview availability, ask which undergraduate school program this interview is being arranged through. Otherwise, don’t sweat it.

Spoiler Alert… I think most schools realize that kids are applying to more than 1 school. So relax, and ask your questions confidently! They owe it to you to explain the details.

@TheDidactic‌ @nugraddad‌ Haha yeah, I think I was being a little bit ridiculous this morning. Thanks for the help!
