I took Writing 1 (which is the course for our school's literary magazine) freshman year. I didn't feel like taking it as a sophomore this year. But I kind of want to take Writing 2 junior year. Will this make me look uncommitted/undedicated to colleges?

I either want to take Writing 2 or a social studies elective course (and I REALLY love social studies).
So is it just not worth it take the Writing 2 class if I took a year off in between?

You're fine (this was, is, and will be to EVERY single trivial "worrying" question that you ever ask that isn't even a big deal).

Don't worry about it; I'm the same with Orchestra, skipping years in between and stuff.

It's called being baller.

Yeah, I didn't take orchestra jr year. I'm pretty sure nobody cares. lol.

edit - and WUTTTTTTT!!!! INVOYABLE IS IN ORCHESTRA?!????

I ball up that class. Don't be talking nonsense just because you, once again, envy my epicness like you have been miserably failing in the past couple threads.

Is there any way you can take both? If not, just choose the one you want to take more; you can always take the other one senior year.

Yeah, it's no biggy. Colleges will probably just assume there was a scheduling conflict.
