Hi there,
My family is American, but my dad was a graduate assistant at imperial college London after he received his masters. Would this be considered a legacy?

There’s no such thing as a ‘legacy’ at British universities. You would be very unwise to mention that in your application.

It would almost certainly be considered illegal to admit someone to a UK uni on the basis of the American concept of legacy. There are anti-discrimination laws.

Cupcake is correct: British universities may only consider the information provided through UCAS. It would be detrimental to your application to write about your being a legacy student.
